Mike Kimmey, a founding partner of Tropical Realty Group and a realtor at Coldwell Banker, began his real estate career in Ft Lauderdale over 20 years ago when he relocated from Seattle, WA. His drive, personality, financial expertise, marketing skills, ethical standards and customer service focus quickly moved him to the forefront of South Florida’s top-producing agents and he is recognized as being among the top 2% of realtors internationally with Coldwell Banker.

Mike’s success as a real estate broker is thanks at least in part to his diverse background. He spent 10 years in the United States Army as a Captain in the Finance Corps, with most of his service time overseas running international banking and financing operations in Panama and Egypt, to name a few. He also has a Bachelors degree in Business from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Masters in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
Mike is committed to his personal and professional community in numerous ways, including as a volunteer counselor for American Fields Services (AFS) supporting outbound foreign exchange students, as a donor of time and money to numerous local charities and events, as a member of the Broward County Master Broker’s Forum, and as a member of the Ft Lauderdale Community Services Advisory Board.
